Third Annual L.A. MacGathering Set For May

The third annual MacGathering will happen May 19-20 in Los Angeles, organizers have announced. Comedian and actor Sinbad will deliver the keynote address, while Boston Legal actor René Auberjonois will also be in attendance. Instructors teaching seminars include Final Cut Pro guru Steve Martin and designer and author Andrew Shalat.
MacGathering will be held at the Beverly Garland's Holiday Inn in North Hollywood. Admission to the exhibit hall for both days, as well as feature presentations in the theater is US$10 in advance, $15 the day of the show and $7 for MUG members, teachers, students, or those with coupons. Those prices are $109, $129 and $89 when two days of seminars are added, or $70, $80 and $55 for one day of seminars.
