Aspyr Media on Monday announced that it will release SimCity 4 Deluxe in September. The bundle will include the city simulator SimCity 4 as well as the Rush Hour expansion pack, which adds U Drive It missions that help players improve their mayor ratings, a new UFO disaster that can wreak havoc, the ability to name streets, neighborhoods, mountains and bodies of water, and more. Rush Hour also includes such new transportation options as elevated rails, a ferry system and a monorail network.
Aspyr did not release pricing for the SimCity 4 Deluxe bundle, nor did it note system requirements. The publisheris Web site shows different requirements for each title. SimCity 4 requires Mac OS X v10.2.3, a G3 500Mhz processor, 256MB RAM, 2.4GB free hard drive space and 32MB Video RAM. Rush Hour differs by requiring Mac OS X v10.2.8, a G4 700Mhz processor and 2GB free hard drive space. The expansion packis other requirements are the same.
