Colin Henein has released an update for SlimBatteryMonitor, bringing it to version 1.1. The SlimBatteryMonitor is a utility designed as a replacement icon for monitoring a laptops remaining battery charge. The update features two-battery system support and flexible panels. According to Colin Henein:
SlimBatteryMonitor version 1.1, the acclaimed laptop and UPS battery monitor for Mac OS X, has just received its first major update.
SlimBatteryMonitor is a space-efficient replacement power gauge for your Mac OS X menu bar. It monitors both laptop batteries and many UPS batteries. You can select different views for when powered, charging or on battery... even instruct SlimBatteryMonitor to automatically hide itself in some circumstances (e.g. while fully charged).
Enhancements in this release include flexible low-power warning panels and access to the Energy Saver preferences. Version 1.1 also enhances support for two-battery systems: it calculates time-to-run estimates for idle batteries and aggregates time and percentage information.
