The San Francisco Chronicle released its own news app for the iPad on Tuesday. The app offers the San Francisco Chronicle’s news content, and also includes in-app monthly and annual subscription support.

The app includes the news paper’s daily editions, breaking news updates, up to date weather and traffic, a seven day news archive, 360 degree panoramas of San Francisco land marks, and more.
Chronicle print subscribers get free access to iPad content, and new users get 30 days of free access. Monthly subscriptions are priced at US$5.99, and annual subscriptions cost $59.99.
The San Francisco Chronicle iPad app is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
