The tool is available as an extension that plugs into DaVinci Resolve, and is available on the Mac App Store. Users will be able to send video clips and get a transcript as ranged markers, color coded per speaker. Once editing is done, users can instantly add captions and subtitles. Simon Says can caption video edits and translate subtitles into 100 languages.
The company has a how-to article to get started. It involves downloading Simon Says from the Mac App Store and installing Python scripts so that the two apps can work with each other.
