Software maker MacPaw launched what it describes as “the first personalized VPN” on Tuesday. ClearVPN works across a number of platforms, including macOS and iOS.
ClearVPN From MacPaw Lets Users Browse Privately Without Picking a Server Location
Central to the tool is DynamicFlow Technology. This provides users with shortcuts for quick content access and allows them to browse online without having to pick a server location. It uses its own custom protocol, as well IPSec IKEV2 and OpenVPN. ClearVPN provides users with straightforward options: Bypass Geo-Blocking, Access Social Media, Improve Online Gaming, Block Ads While Browsing.
Aleksandr Kosovan, CEO and Founder of MacPaw said:
For 12 years, we’ve been developing innovative software with outstanding design and usability to make macOS and iOS users’ lives easier. VPNs have become a necessity by bringing us peace of mind that our data is safe. With global demand for privacy-related software increasing during the coronavirus lockdowns, we’re excited to apply our expertise and provide an easy-to-use and secure solution for safer web browsing for everybody.
Both free and paid versions of the app are available. The paid plan costs $12.99 per month or $93 per year.
