Apple has released the third version of its developer betas for iPadOS 14.3, iOS 14.3, tvOS 14.3, and watchOS 7.2.
AppleOS 14.3 Beta 3
The biggest change in iOS 14.3 is the introduction of ProRAW for owners of iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. It lets users shoot uncompressed RAW photos with the camera while still taking advantage of the iPhone’s computational photography features. Other features include minor changes to the Home app, Apple Watch notifications, and running Home Screen shortcuts without having the Shortcuts app open first.
watchOS 7.2 adds a Cardio Fitness feature for the Apple Watch. It measures the maximum rate of oxygen use your body uses during a workout, also known as VO2 max. This measurement is tracked over time and you’ll get notifications to track how that number changes over time. Another big update in this release includes Apple’s newest service called Fitness+.
Unlike its other operating systems, Apple doesn’t typically share release notes for tvOS updates. Instead, they contain the usual bug fixes and improvements.
