Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple will release AirTags, new AirPods, an AR device, and more this year (via 9To5Mac).
New Apple Devices
First, AirTags. Rumors of this location-based product have circulated for over a year. These are supposedly a small device you can attach to various items to keep track of their location with the Find My app.
Second, new AirPods this year dubbed “AirPods Lite” would replace the regular non-Pro model but with a similar design. Third, iPad Pro and Mac models will get a mini LED display featuring improved contrast ratios and deeper blacks, similar to what OLED offers but cheaper to produce.
Fourth, an Apple augmented reality headset is another long-rumored device. Ming-Chi Kuo says this device will be dependent on the iPhone much like the Apple Watch was in the beginning.
