Apple has finally started rolling out the macOS 15 Sequoia public beta to general users. This means that even if you’re not a developer, you can now explore all the exciting features that will debut with the upcoming software.
Up until now, Apple has only released developer beta previews of macOS Sequoia. However, ahead of the fall event, the company is giving public testers a sneak peek at the upcoming features. One highlight is the widely discussed iPhone Mirroring, which includes the same features found in macOS 15 Developer Beta 3.
How to Install macOS 15 Sequoia Public Beta on your Mac Device?
If you’ve already enrolled on Apple’s beta testing website, you can get macOS 15 Sequoia running on your device by heading to System Settings > Software Update > Downloading & Installing the macOS 15 Sequoia Public Beta.

Of course, macOS Sequoia packs several exciting features, including Apple Intelligence. With Apple Intelligence, you can rely on the AI-powered assistant to help you with daily tasks and simplify the process. Moreover, there’s window tiling to manage multiple windows more easily on your Mac. Then, there is the Passwords app for keeping passwords, logins, and passkeys securely.
The best feature so far is iPhone Mirroring (and here’s how to use it!), which lets you control your iPhone from the Mac using just the keyboard and mouse, even if it’s locked and kept away. Soon, you’ll also be able to drag and drop apps between your Mac and iPhone effortlessly.
Apple is expected to roll out the final versions of iOS 18, iPadOS, macOS 15, and so on after the fall event.
