Konnet has released two new products. One is just for the iPhone 3G or 3Gs and the other is for all the iPhones, most of the iPod Touches, and some of the iPod Nanos. They are quite different from each other, but either would make good gifts for the Spring and Summer holidays of Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Graduation.
iCrado
Let’s start with the iCrado, an iPhone stand that you can also use to charge your device, though you supply the USB cable. It works with iPhone, IPhone 3G and 3Gs; iPod Touch and iPod Touch 2G; iPod Nano 3G and 4G; and iPod Classic.
ICrado with iPhone
The specs say it is metallic, but it feels and weighs like metal. The USB cable attaches through the underside and locks in place with a plastic holder. The design enhances speaker quality and mic reception. I could definitely tell a difference in the loudness of music using my phone with this product.
At the widest point it is only 3 inches and and the depth is 3.5 so it doesn’t take up much space on your desk. There are three rubber pads on the tall back that protect the back of your phone. I was able to use it without removing my iPhone case if it was a fairly thin case.
It comes in a myriad of colors plus silver and black and sells for $34.99. The one disadvantage to it is that your phone must remain in horizontal position, so while it would be an excellent holder for watching movies, you can not watch them in the more favored vertical position.

HardJAC Graffito
This product, a case for the iPhone 3G and 3Gs, is a niche product for anyone who likes a flamboyant case. It comes in two styles. One is bright pink adorned with large white flowers and the other is a stark black decorated with lightening.

The case is ultra slim and lightweight (.02kg) and made of polycarbonate. A matching graphic screen protector film is included. The graphic is at the very top and very bottom. There is even a free wallpaper download to match. I can pretty much guarantee you won’t misplace your phone with the pink case on it. It sells for $22.99
The Bottom Line
Both of these products are well made and reasonably priced and should make interesting and useful holiday gifts. Both are available from the Konnet web site.
