FingerPrint from Collobos Software
Collobos Software’s FingerPrint supports most printers and doesn’t require Mac OS X 10.6.5 — a limitation of Apple’s own AirPrint software. Instead, FingerPrint supports Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, although it does require iOS 4.2 to provide the necessary print components for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
FingerPrint is priced at US$7.99 and is available for download at the Collobos Software Web site.
Ecamm’s Printopia
Ecamm’s AirPrint sharing alternative, Printopia, offers a little more in that it lets users send documents to their Mac or Dropbox account as a JGP or PNG in addition to outputting files to shared printers. Like FingerPrint, Printopia supports Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, but requires iOS 4.2 on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.
Printopia is priced at US$9.95 and is available at the Ecamm Network Web site.
