Here’s the opening of a detailed story from Variety.
Fans of the Marvel Television series recently canceled by Netflix who hope to see the shows revived on Disney+ may be out of luck.
Sources tell Variety that the deal for the original four Marvel shows includes a clause that prevents the characters from appearing in any non-Netflix series or film for at least two years after cancellation. That means that “Daredevil,” “Luke Cage,” and “Iron Fist” — which were all canceled this year at Netflix — could not come to the Disney streaming service until 2020 at the earliest.

Daredevil S.3 provided closure — it’s a complete story. Hope the same for Jessica Jones. S.3. So if neither end up continuing on Disney+, no big deal. Luke Cage S.3 is one I really want, Iron Fist S.3 is one I’d like. Punisher, I don’t know, given that there’d be a clue in S.2.
And then there’s the two years. Let’s say Daredevil S.4 got the green light right now; given the time it took to be produced and dropped, well, it was well over a year, almost two if one starts with getting the writers room set up.
In other words, all these shows can start showing up on the service not all that much later than if they remained on Netflix.
