Slacker Radio
Subscribers can listen to Slacker music channels through a Web browser, iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, as well as BlackBerry and Android OS devices. Users can build their own Slacker stations based on artist, tag songs as favorites, and can temporarily download songs for playback when an Internet connection isn’t available.
Slacker’s basic service is free with ads, or US$3.99 a month without ads as part of Slacker Radio Plus. The new Slacker Premium Radio costs $9.99 a month.
The Slacker Radio app for the iPhone and iPad is available as a free download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
