Ric Getter

Ric was working at a Silicon Valley startup when the Mac made its debut in 1984 and, as luck would have it, one landed on his desk a month later. It was love at first click. Since then, he’s worked with and supported them in both the media and enterprise IT. In media, he worked as a producer, editor and director. In the latter, he was a system admin and did desktop support. He has been writing about Macs and all things Apple for over two decades. His main machine is a Mac Studio M1 Ultra connected to an Apple Studio Display and a 27” BenQ. There’s an iPhone 13 Pro in his pocket, a Series 5 Apple Watch on his wrist, and often either an iPad Pro or his iPad mini in his hand.
