iOS 7's Control Center feature is great because it gives you quick access to the system settings you're most likely to use. If you use any apps that also rely on the up-from-the-bottom-of-the-screen gesture, however, that can actually be a pain. Luckily Apple thought of that, and the fix is easy.
Control Center gives you quick access to commonly used settings in iOS 7
If you accidentally open Control Center in apps, you can disable the feature while still keeping it available on your Home and Lock screens. Here's how:
- Tap Settings
- Tap Control Center
- Set Access Within Apps to Off
Disable Access Within Apps to stop Control Center from accidentally popping up
Now you can swipe away in apps without worrying about whether or not you'll accidentally open Control Center, plus it's still available where you most likely need it: Your Lock screen.
