Garmin announced the immediate availability of updated version of its Navigon and Garmin Street Pilot Onboard apps for the iPhone with public transportation data, iOS 6 Maps integration, and support for the iPhone 5 4-inch display.
Navigon for iPhone Adds iPhone 5 support, Public Transportation info
The public transportation information comes via Garmin's new Urban Guidance in-app purchase. Urban Guidance accounts for trains, trams, busses and water taxis when finding pedestrian routes, and auto-tags the location of your car when starting a foot route. StreetPilot Onboard for the iPhone also gained Google Street View and Panorama View 3D as in-app purchases.
Garmin StreetPilot USA and North America are priced at US$49.99 and $59.99, respectively. The updates aren't yet available, but should be on the App Store soon.
Navigon USA costs $39.99, the North America version is priced at $44.99, and the MyRegion version costs $24.99. All are available through Apple's iTunes-based App Store now.
Urban Guidance is available as a $2.99 in-app purchase.
