iPad 2: Coming to a country near you!
Countries that will offer the iPad 2 on April 29 include Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE. China will get in on the iPad 2 action, too, on May 6, although only the Wi-Fi models will be available.
The iPad 2 was originally scheduled to go on sale earlier in Japan, but the launch was delayed in the wake of the country’s earthquake and tsunami disasters.
The iPad is Apple’s touch interface multimedia tablet that runs iOS. It includes a dual core A5 processor, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, front and rear-facing digital cameras, and more.
Apple launched the iPad 2 in the U.S. on March 1, and has been slowing rolling out in more countries since then. Demand for the multimedia tablet has been so high that hopeful customers are still having trouble getting ahold of one, and launch day lines have been long everywhere the iPad has gone on sale.
