There are a number of products on the market today that allow users to safely hold an iPad or an iPad 2 in one hand. Grablet has built on that concept by creating one that does that while also working with the Apple Smart Covers. It is available in 12 colors from the Grablet web site. The Package contains a Grablet back protector which folds over the top for a good hold, two 12-inch straps with “G” bucklet, four strap retaining rings, one hand pad and one hand wrap.
The adjustable straps allow users with any size hand to comfortably use the product, and they can also be adjusted so that the iPad can be hung on cabinets or other like items for wall viewing. Instructions that accompany the product demonstrate the options, and there is also a video available that walks users through the possibilities including using the straps and the hand pad to form a stand for the iPad. Using the product
This product is easy to use. It is easy to insert and remove the iPad 2. There are directions that show the easy way to do it. The attachments for the straps are easy to work with, although I would prefer to set it up once and not have to switch options frequently. I assume that is the plan and the different options are just to meet everyone’s needs. The hand pad and/or the hand wrap are very comfortable over the hand. That might not be important to everyone, but it is to me, and I appreciated that feature very much.
I also very much like the fact that users can also use the Apple Smart Covers with this product. The one complaint I hear about this type of product is that fronts are left unprotected and users feel that they must have a full case to use in addition to one like this so that they can trade back and forth between the two.

Do I recommend it?
I do. The developers have covered a lot bases to try and meet as many needs as possible, and I think they have done a good job. The 12 colors don’t hurt either.
