Version 4 improved the Web-based interface, the built-in Web server now supports RESTful Web APIs, the system offers folder management for organizing devices, and Bonjour and AppleScript support was improved. Indigo 4 also added support for the INSTEON IR-Linc Transmitter, I/O-Linc, and Motion Sensor hardware modules.
Indigo is now also available in Lite and Pro versions. The Pro version lets users control a wider range of devices and supports custom scripting.
Controlling Indigo-managed devices from an iPhone or iPod touch requires the Indigo Touch application, which is available as a free download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store. It can communicate with Indigo 4.0 via EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi connections.
Indigo Pro 4.0 is priced at US$179.95, and Indigo Lite 4.0 costs $89.95. Upgrade pricing is available as well.
