The juice pack plus includes a 2,000 mAh rechargeable battery, rubber grips to help avoid accidental drops, a pass through USB port for simultaneous charging and syncing, and a standby and charging switch for controlling when the case’s battery is used. The case is also designed to redirect the iPhone’s speaker audio for better clarity and a fuller sound.
According to mophie, the juice pack plus offers up to eight additional hours of 3G talk time, 16 hours of 2G talk time, seven hours of 3G data usage or 11 hours of Wi-Fi Internet surfing, 44 additional hours of audio playback, and up to 11 extra hours of video playback.
The juice pack plus for the iPhone 4 is priced at US$99.95 and is available at the mophie Web site. It is currently available in black, but cyan, magenta and yellow versions are coming soon.
