Prong’s PocketPlug case is designed to protect your iPhone and also charge it without an external power adapter. It's made of a substantial (high-grade polycarbonate with a soft-touch finish) case that protects all but the screen and includes a built-in plug for AC outlets. (No screen protector is included.)
It's available in black or white. It also comes with a Micro-USB cable that allows users to also charge their phone through a USB connection if they wish.
The case, which is only 0.71-in (18-mm) thick, is an Apple MFi approved product and it carries a one year limited warranty. The MSRP is US$69.95.

This product also includes a special audio adapter that makes it possible to connect headphones and other accessories into the phone without removing the case.

Using The Product
The case comes apart for easy insertion and removal of the phone. The necessary ports and buttons are easily accessible. One thing that I really like about this case is how snugly the phone seats over the lightning connector. I have tried other cases that offer seating over the lightning connector and found that my phone did not always stay charged because the connection was not tight enough.
The AC outlet prongs lie completely flat when not in use and they are recessed just enough to make sure they won’t catch on anything. To raise the prongs the user just lifts one or the other and both come up.

Another important feature is that the cutout for the back camera is big enough to accommodate the new 5c and 5s iPhones. When I took pictures using my iPhone 5s in this case, both flashes worked perfectly.

I love the fact that the product includes the audio adapter. It makes attaching headphones or speakers as easy as pie. It is, however, another piece of equipment that you have to keep track of.
Do I Recommend It?
I do. At $69.95 it does represent an investment, but if it fits your needs then it is a reasonable purchase. It is not as heavy as other cases with built-in batteries, and they still have to be recharged with a connection to an AC outlet. I find that I like this case very much.
