Apple Rolls Out macOS 15 Sequoia Beta 3 to Developers

Apple macOS Sequoia announcement

Apple is finally rolling out macOS 15 Sequoia beta 3 to developers, two days after rolling out the third round of developer betas for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2.

More importantly, it comes around two weeks after Apple pushed the second developer beta of macOS 15 Sequoia, which packed the highly anticipated iPhone Mirroring support.

Today’s macOS 15 Sequoia third developer beta carries build number: 24A5289g. We have yet to spot all the newly added features in the latest developer beta release.

That said, I don’t recommend installing these developer betas or beta previews unless you’re a developer or using them for testing purposes. These are pre-release software and the experience may be laggy so avoid installing them on your primary device.

Meanwhile, registered developers can install the macOS 15 Sequoia beta 3 right away by heading to System Settings > Software Update > Selecting the available beta update.

A public release is expected shortly, with plans for a full release expected sometime this fall.

The stakes are high for macOS 15 Sequoia as it will pack Apple Intelligence. Upcoming features include Writing Tools for editing, proofreading, and summarizing text in apps, and more. You can check whether your Mac device will support macOS 15 Sequoia or not.

That’s it! Let us know which upcoming features you’re most excited about in macOS 15 Sequoia.
