St. Clair Software today released version 3.1.3 of Default Folder, their popular enhancement for Open and Save dialogs.
Default Folder 3.1.3 brings back the ability to show and hide the Finder when file dialogs appear, as well as fixing a compatibility problem with Eudora and minor issues with several features.
Highlights of the changes in Default Folder 3.1.3 include:
- A new option to have Default Folder show the Finderis windows if theyire hidden when a file dialog comes up.
- After creating a new folder from within a file dialog, the folder is now correctly selected
- Corrected a bug that could cause applications to crash when they tried to display a file dialog while the option key was down. This affected Eudora, among others
- Errors are now correctly handled when importing folder sets and when using the Default Folder Substitutions extension
