Pascal Beaujeant has ported a native Java application to OS X, and claims it was a very simple process. NIH, a scientific application, now runs natively under OS X Beta. More importantly, Mr. Beaujeant said the porting process was remarkably easy. According to Mr. Beaujeant:

fantastic scientific program called NIH Image and new released
ImageJ.

The compiler ‘cc’ is also very easy to import from darwin project
