Apple's rumored 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may offer 128GB RAM
News of the higher storage capacity comes courtesy of supply chain sources speaking with the Chinese news site Feng.com (English translation). Other reports claim image stabilization will be another feature exclusive to the 5.5-inch iPhone 6.
Using features for clear differentiation between product models isn't anything new to Apple. The company has used the tactic for years to set apart various Mac models, so it's possible that's part of the design in the new iPhone models, too.
The iPhone 6 hasn't been announced yet, but based on information leaks it looks like the new model will come in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions with improved cameras, better Apple designed A-series processors, a thinner body that matches the iPad Air and iPad mini, and better battery life.
A report also claims Apple will start selling the iPhone 6 on September 19. Since iOS 8 is set for a fall release, that could coincide with the new iPhone launch.
Apple hasn't yet announced new models, or commented on the iPhone 6 rumors.
