The Cupertino-based company isnit saying what Apple University is, but it wonit likely come to life until sometime next year since Mr. Podolny isnit scheduled to start his new job with Apple until early 2009.
This wonit be the first company Steve Jobs has been involved with that started a “University” program. Pixar Animation Studios, the company Mr. Jobs sold to Disney, offers its own Pixar University classes for new and experienced animators. So far, Apple hasnit said whether or not it plans on offering its own training classes through Apple University.
