Apple silicon MacBook Pros and Air look set to be the centerpiece of the ‘One More Thing’ event taking place on November 10, 2020. However, it may not be all that’s revealed next week.

Two Apple Silicon MacBook Pros And One Air on Way

On the Apple Silicon MacBooks, Bloomberg News reported:

Apple and overseas suppliers are ramping up production of three Mac laptops with Apple processors: new 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros and a new 13-inch MacBook Air.

Foxconn is assembling the two 13-inch devices, with the 16-inch MacBook Pro us being handled by Quanta Computer. The Apple silicon processors are reportedly based on the A14 chip that appears in the latest iPhones and iPad Air. Tests are said to have revealed improved power efficiency when compared to the outgoing Intel parts.

A new AR tool, which users can access by tapping on the event page on an iPhone or iPad, also indicates a laptop-like device opening.

One More Thing?

While the Apple silicon MacBook Pros and Air will be the stars of the show, I suspect we will see some other big items too. A release date for macOS Big Sur will surely be announced, and that must be the operating system the new computers will come with. We may also see upgraded AirPods, AirPods Pro, and the much-discussed AirPod Studio over-ear headphones. And, who knows – maybe there will be one more thing…
