T-Mobile announced its new cord-cutting option, TVision, on Tuesday. Furthermore, as part of some packages, subscribers can get Apple TV+ free for a year and an Apple TV 4K for $99, the company said.
Apple TV+ Free, Cut-Price Apple TV 4k, With TMobile’s TVision
The two packages that provide Apple TV+ for free are:
- TVision Live TV+: 40 news and sports channels including regional sports, football, and golf, for $50 per month.
- TVision Live Zone: This also includes pro sports networks and costs $60 per month.
(All the channels available are listed by T-Mobile on the TVision website.)
An Apple TV 4K normally costs $179. However, TVision subscribers to those packages can get one for $99, getting an $80 rebate via virtual prepaid Mastercard.
Breaking the Cableopoloy
“The Cableopoly holds TV fans hostage, bundling live news and sports into expensive packages with hundreds of other channels that people don’t want, and don’t watch,” said T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert. “Something’s gotta change. And that’s what the Un-carrier does best — force change. Just like we changed wireless for good — today we’re going to change TV for good!”
