Ecamm Network announced the immediate availability of DockStar 2.1 on Friday. The update added the ability to monitor Mail’s RSS feeds and To-Do items, added clickable indicators to the menu bar, and improved Smart Mailbox support for Mac OS X 10.5.

DockStar is a utility that adds badges that track email messages to Mail’s Dock icon. Users can customize Dock badges to track specific Mail folders and the application also includes a screen saver that displays DockStar status badges.
DockStar 2.1 is priced at US$9.95 and is available for download at the Ecamm Network Web site. The update is free for version 2 users.
