Apple’s rumored introduction of a new color option for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Mac lineup has received strong criticism and backlash from fans. The alleged “Desert Titanium” hue, a bronzy brown, but personally, it looks like a Caramel color too, is set to replace the Blue Titanium as the fourth color available for iPhone 16 Pro.
The Desert Titanium variant appears more like dark gold than the previously released rose gold. Majin Bu described it as a “kind of dark gold, similar to the old purple color, relatively discreet and deep.”
The new color has been dubbed “ear wax gold” and “s–t brown” by disappointed consumers, as per the New York Post. Many expressed their dissatisfaction on social media platforms. People are hoping that the leaked images will not represent the final product.
Despite the controversial color choice, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have other “new features,” such as larger screens, better camera capabilities, wifi 7, fast charging, and new processor chips.
Apple also plans to release “Apple Intelligence,” powered by OpenAI, to enhance functionalities like Siri 2.0 and messaging.
What’s your take on the news color?
Ear Wax Brown, I hadn’t heard that one before.
But, taking into account that A-These are rumours and leaked images which may be totally wrong, and B-photos may not accurately reflect what it looks like in real life.
That colour is awful. I’m mean really really bad.
