iAd: Now in your country, too.
The change means iPhone and iPod touch users running iOS 4 are finally seeing iAd-based advertisements in the apps they use in countries around the world.
The expansion comes as users and developers prepare for the release of iOS 4.2, which will bring iAd support to the iPad. The update will also give iPad users multi-tasking and folder support, just like iPhone and iPod touch users have now.
There’s no official word on when iOS 4.2 will ship, although the gold master version has been released to developers. Assuming there aren’t any catastrophic problems with the code, iOS 4.2 could be released to users any day now.
