has introduced a digital I/O package and remote control system for its HD-RH1, a POV High Definition
video camera.
“We are very pleased to be able to introduce the digital I/O package and
remote control system upgrades so soon after shipping our first cameras,”
said Wayne Upton, CTO, Iconix Video. “The HD-RH1 is a high-performance POV
remote camera system that augments and enhances the HD acquisition
capabilities of broadcasters and cinematographers alike. Our new I/O
package increases those capabilities with fiber optic outputs and direct
camera genlocking, and the remote control panel allows seamless integration
with video trucks and other remote set-ups. The potential applications are
limitless.”
Iconix Video will demonstrate the camera, which has been shipping
since December 2006, and the new I/O package at NAB 2007, April 16-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The HD-RH1 camera has already been deployed in the shooting of Steven Soderberghis “Oceanis Thirteen” and National Geographicis “Planet Carnivore” TV series.
