Anticipated to take the stage on Tuesday, September 12, Apple will introduce its iPhone 15 series. Ahead of the event, at least one analytics company expects iPhone 15 camera upgrades as the marquee features.
iPhone 15 Camera Upgrades Expected to Steal the Show
According to a report from Taiwanese analytics company Trendforce, Apple will offer pivotal camera improvements to the iPhone 15. These should serve as a significant reason for prospective consumers to upgrade to the latest models.
Stae-of-the-art Sony-sourced stacked camera sensors should arrive with the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Analysts believe these sensors will allow the iPhone 15 to capture an elevated level of ambient light.
TrendForce asserts that this technological finesse will lead to a notable improvement to the dynamic range of captured photographs.
Giving the Most Premium iPhone Better Zoom Capabilities
Further solidifying prior speculations, TrendForce also confirmed that the premium iPhone 15 Pro Max will sport a periscope telephoto lens. This wll substantially augment its optical zoom capabilities.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that this specialized lens could offer a zoom range of up to 5x or 6x. This would be a huge leap over the current 3x zoom ceiling on the iPhone 14 Pro variants.
Reaffirming Other iPhone 15 Rumors
All four models in the forthcoming iPhone 15 series are anticipated to incorporate a USB-C port. Not only that, but the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island should grace all four models of the handset. This innovative feature envelops the front-facing camera and Face ID sensors, whilst concurrently displaying pertinent system alerts and live activities.
In terms of additional bells and whistles earmarked exclusively for the Pro iterations, consumers can look forward to an array of enhancements.
These include a svelte titanium frame and a user-customizable Action button. Under the hood, expect to find the high-octane A17 Bionic chip, support for the latest Wi-Fi 6E protocol, among other coveted features.
