Several reports have emerged regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone releases. There is unconfirmed information surrounding the iPhone 17 (expected in 2025) and a potential foldable iPhone.
Leaks suggest the introduction of an “iPhone 17 Slim” in 2025. Current rumors say this new model will have a 6.65-inch display, placing it between the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max sizes. The Pro model could also have three 48-megapixel cameras. The “iPhone 17 Slim” might not be the absolute performance leader. It’s rumored to feature an A19 chip, while the Pro models might receive the upgraded A19 Pro chip.
RAM capacity might differ, with 8GB for the Slim compared to 12GB in the Pro models
On the other hand, other rumors indicate Apple is actively developing its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Flip? Codenamed “V68,” this phone is expected to launch in 2026 and could feature a clamshell design similar to existing foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
A key focus for the foldable iPhone appears to be minimizing the crease that typically forms where the phone folds. Reports also suggest Apple is collaborating with Samsung to secure displays for this device.
Beyond hardware, rumors suggest Apple is developing exclusive features to differentiate its foldable phone from competitors. However, the company maintains high-quality standards, and the launch could be delayed till 2027 or canceled if prototypes do not meet those expectations, as we discussed previously.
Which one are you looking forward to, the iPhone Slim or the iPhone Flip?
