Kate Hudson will star alongside Octavia Spencer in the second season of Truth be Told on Apple TV+, Deadline reported. She will play a lifestyle guru called Micah Keith, a lifestyle guru and longtime friend of Ms. Spencer’s character, Poppy Parnell.
Kate Hudson Joining ‘Truth be Told’ on Apple TV+
The second season of Truth be Told looks at the U.S. obsession with true crime podcasts. On this occasion, the case involves the two protagonists, testing their friendship.
Ms. Hudson has starred in a variety of movies including Almost Famous, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bride Wars, Deepwater Horizon, and Marshall. She also appears on TV in season four of Glee, amongst other things. Ms. Spencer serves as an executive producer on Truth be Told. The Morning Show star Reese Witherspoon also serves as an executive producer. The second season will begin filming in Los Angeles on October 26.
