Mac Author Michael Bartosh Dies

The Macintosh community suffered a tragic loss on Sunday with the untimely death of Mac OS X Server expert and author Michael Bartosh. AFP548.com is reporting that he fell from a balcony in Tokyo, Japan, in what police are ruling as an accident.

Mr. Bartosh was a former Apple systems engineer, and traveled the world teaching, lecturing and consulting. He was the author of Essential Mac OS X Panther Server Administration from O’Reilly Media, spoke regularly at Macworld Expo and Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference, was the president of 4am Media, and was widely regarded as one of the top experts in Mac server administration.

Mr. Bartosh was 28, and is survived by his family, friends, colleagues, and his wife Amber.
