The next series of Apple silicon will be in the upgraded MacBook Pro and entry-level and high-end iMacs, according to Bloomberg News. They will later be put into the new Mac Pro too, with the intention of outperforming the fastest Intel chips.
Apple Silicon Aims to Outclass Intel
Following the launch of the M1 chip in MacBook Air, 13-inch Pro, and Mac Mini, the next series of Apple-made chips could be introduced as early next year. However, it is still possible that the current chip will go in the next version of various Macs. Apple’s transition away from Intel is expected to be completed in 2022. The company offered no comment on the latest rumors about forthcoming chips.
