Nooie showed their latest product, the Nooie Cam Doorbell, at the Techfluence CES Preview event. Sasha Tseng, Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer briefed us on what sets it apart from other cam doorbells.
The Cam Doorbell starts with a 2K resolution camera with a 158 degree field of view. An advanced passive infrared sensor and human detection algorithm, night vision up to 49 feet, and customizable sensitivity settings filter out unwanted alerts. A 10000 mAh rechargeable battery powers the unit. You can interact with visitors via an anti-noise mic and speaker, or send a pre-recorded message if you’re unable to have a two-way conversation.
The Base Station with Chime Component pairs with the doorbell, integrates with your network via either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or Ethernet. 1080p HD video can be stored on your own MicroSD memory card, or you can purchase a cloud storage plan. The system works with Alexa and Google Assistant. If you have an Echo Show, you can get a notification when someone rings the bell and see the live view.
The Nooie Cam Doorbell is US$149.99, and is also available from retail partners Adorama, Amazon and Target.
