YouTube released an app update on Monday that reportedly fixes the Succubus-level battery draining issue many iPhone owners have experienced. The video streaming company isn’t saying what else is in the update, but really, what else does there need to be?
Complaints about stunningly fast battery draining thanks to the YouTube app have been circulating around the internet for weeks. In some cases, iPhone owners claimed their battery would burn through nearly a quarter of its charge in less than 30 minutes while using the YouTube app.
@YouTube Can you fix your app on iPhone X. It drains 20% in 30 minutes.

YouTube promised earlier this month a fix was on the way. The YouTube app is a free download at Apple’s App Store.
