The xRobot Power Bank from RavPower is a 6000 mAh external battery with a few extra features. It includes a USB port, a built-in 30-pin connector, a built-in micro USB connector, and a built-in standard USB connector.

These built-in extras should be a boon to frequent travelers. Unfortunately, it does not include a Lightning connector for the newer Apple products. It can, however, simultaneously charge two devices since the cables are built in, and it can easily charge an iPad.
View of connectors
The connectors are fitted into the battery so that when the battery is at rest, it is a very compact 2.46 x 3.94 x 0.96-in. (6.25 x 10.01 x 2.44-cm). It is available in white only.
Compact when not in use
To charge the unit you can use the built-in USB cable to charge it from a computer or from an AC adapter. Once it is fully charged the user can press the button on the face of the device to light up five LED battery life indicator lights.

The xRobot comes in a neat and secure package. The xRobot is surrounded with heavy sponge that prevents movement or damage. It also makes a nice presentation if you are interested in it as a gift.

Using The Product
Once I achieved full charge in the xRobot, I found that it would last a goodly amount of time. For instance, I charged both my iPad 4 which has a 30-pin connector, and my Kinivo wireless digital speaker which has a micro USB connector at the same time, and was able to do that from 10 percent charge three times before the available charge in the xRobot ran down. I could easily carry this unit on a week-end trip and know that I would have all the charge I needed.
The various built-in cables fit neatly against the side and top of the unit and they stay put once placed.
Do I Recommend It?
I do. It works well, is handy and compact. The xRobot is available from Amazon for US$39.99.
