SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Daylight Viewfinder is a combination of hardware and software to help you take photos on your iOS device, and Paul Anderson, Sig Innovations Engineer/Owner, gave The Mac Observer a demonstration at the Macworld/iWorld Innovation Showcase. The showcase gives exhibitors a chance to display their products to the media before the chaos of the show floor.
Daylight Viewfinder System on an iPhone
The first piece of the system is a viewfinder that attaches to your iOS device, and blocks out bright light so that you can see what would otherwise be washed out image on your screen. The end of the viewfinder can be moved in and out to accommodate those who need glasses to focus.
The second part of the system is the free Daylight Finder application. The app provides both a guide for where to place the viewfinder, as well as controls to switch between video and photo mode, flash control, a capture button, focus box, zoom level, and access to your camera roll.
Daylight Viewfinder, from Sig Innovations LLC, is available for US$29.95, with special show pricing of $25.
Macworld/iWorld 2013 runs from January 31 through February 2 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. The Mac Observer is on location all week so be sure to check in with us for additional coverage.
