The book is said to be in the early planning stages by to anonymous people that are familiar with the project, and no one is officially commenting to confirm or deny the book is in the works.
Despite the lack of official confirmation, reports are claiming Mr. Jobs will be giving Mr. Isaacson a tour of house he grew up in. If the book project comes together, this will mark the first time Mr. Jobs has cooperated with an author to tell the story of his life.
Even though this may be the first authorized biography of the Apple CEO’s life, it won’t be the first book telling his story. Several unauthorized biographies have cropped up over the years such as The Second Coming of Steve Jobs, and iCon: Steve Jobs, the Greatest Second Act in the History of Business.
There’s no word on when to expect Mr. Isaacson’s interpretation of Mr.Jobs’s life to hit bookstore shelves.
