Primate Labs has officially released Geekbench AI 1.0, a cross-platform benchmarking tool made to measure the AI performance of devices. The benchmarking tool, previously in beta as Geekbench ML, now has a complete suite of tests to evaluate a device’s CPU, GPU, and NPU capabilities under real-world AI workloads.
Geekbench AI provides scores for single-precision, half-precision, and quantized data performance, allowing for direct comparisons between different devices and platforms. The company claims that Geekbench AI has reached a level of reliability and dependability that makes it a valuable benchmarking tool for developers, hardware manufacturers, and consumers alike.
“With the 1.0 release, we think Geekbench Al has reached a level of dependability and reliability that allows developers to confidently integrate it into their workflows [and] many big names like Samsung and Nvidia are already using it.”
Geekbench AI is available for free download on macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows. A paid Pro version is also offered for developers who require additional features and privacy options.
