WWDC19 is live, and we’ve seen a lot of updates for Apple TV. One of them is tvOS game controller support for PlayStation and Xbox controllers on Apple TV.
tvOS Game Controller Support
Although the announcement was included with Apple Arcade, Apple’s gaming subscription service, presumably they will work with other games on tvOS as well. tvOS 13 will work with the Xbox One S and PlayStation DualShock4 controllers. tvOS 13 also supports the Xbox Wireless Controller with Bluetooth.
This is sure to change gaming on the Apple TV, because let’s face it, the TV Remote isn’t a great gaming controller.
