Violence broke out at an iPhone manufacturing plant on Saturday, according to the Times of India. Staff at the plant in Karnataka, near Bengaluru, responded angrily, after alleging that they had not been paid as expected.

Violence at iPhone Manufacturing Plant Over Alleged Lack of Payment

Two-thousand staff were leaving after the night-shift when things reportedly turned violent. Furniture and assembly units were destroyed, and there were attempts to set vehicles on fire. Police were called to the plant, which is run by Tawainese firm Wistron. A video shared on social media shows the incident unfolding.

There had been no comment from Wistron or Apple at the time of this writing.
