Apple released watchOS 7.1 on Thursday. The update brings a host of improvements to the Apple Watch, including headphone volume alerts.
watchOS 7.1 Out Now
The new features in watchOS 7.1 are:
- Adds notifications if headphone audio level could impact a users hearing.
- Fixes an issue that stopped some users unlocking their Mac with their Apple Watch
- Fixes an issues where some the screen was dark when some Apple Watch Series 6 users raised their wrists.
- Brings ECG app for Apple Watch Series 4 to South Korea and Russia
watchOS 7.1 can be downloaded via the Apple Watch app on a your iPhone. Open the app > General > Software Update and you will be guided through the install process. The updates requires an Apple Watch to be 50 percent charged and connected to power.
