  • John Keit mentions that one would have to pay at least $1,300 to move up to the Core i5 quad-core model. That’s incorrect. You can buy the base $999 model and upgrade that to the Core i5 quad-core for only $100. So a base quad-core model will start $1,099 with the following specs

    Core i5 quad-core
    8GB RAM
    256GB SSD Storage.

    That’s not bad.
