A new report says Yahoo! was secretly scanning user’s email at the request of U.S. intelligence agencies. Kelly Guimont and John Martellaro join Jeff Gamet to debate whether or not that was appropriate and to look at what we should expect for privacy in our email.

I’m flummoxed that Martellaro thinks that the NSA secretly scanning all emails is OK, especially without notification of the users of the service. Open ended allowances/agreements are bad and *should* violate the 4th Amendment:
It wouldn’t surprise me if other email services also did this.
