Very helpful discussion on buds. Appreciate the links. Why is it musicians prefer JBL? In the 70s when I first spent time in recording studios (as a teenager), they were the bomb, but surely things must have changed since? Apparently not.
Yes I have a Charge 3 and while the UE Megaboom has a lovely smooth room filling sound, it just doesn’t have the punch of the JBL.
And having avoided wireless earbuds for as long as possible (why would I be suspicious of a device that considers my brain a watery impedance?), at the checkout of the electrical store while buying a vacuum cleaner, I impulse bought some JBL Tune110BTs (wire around the back) cheapies and stuff me if even they provide enough punch to bring a smile to my face. Now if only they didn’t disconnect more than once a day.
