I keep listening to the John Martellaro episodes thinking that he might on one day and not come across as a grumpy, unpleasant person because Kelly in her goofy, effervescent charm seems to love him like a crazy favorite uncle. But today — again — was not that day. I should not have been surprised that someone who seems to dislike any shows with more than a hint of diverse casting likes Virgin River, Chesapeake Shores and the saccharine output of the various Hallmark channels. Oh well. I’ll keep listening. Maybe one day…
